Nationally respected psychic medium Jonna Rae Bartges will visit Seattle to do a book signing, readings and lead a one-day workshop that’s connected thousands of students to their inner intuitive.

Psychic or Psychotic? Memoirs of a Happy Medium

'I see dead people so you don't have to' is Jonna Rae's slogan.

Emmy-winning producer and author Jonna Rae Bartges brings her unique, fresh and upbeat flavor of psychic mediumship to Seattle’s East West Bookshop May 31 through June 2.

“I see dead people so you don’t have to” is ‘Happy Medium’ Jonna Rae’s slogan. Thursday May 31 at 7 p.m., she’ll give a brief presentation and sign copies of her autobiography, Psychic or Psychotic? Memoirs of a Happy Medium. In her book, she shares how growing up psychic let her navigate a near-death experience, win EMMY® Awards, comfort grieving families and talk to Walt Disney and whales while doing PR for Disneyland and Sea World San Diego. Her sometimes humorous, always real life journey helps you understand and cultivate your own psychic potential.

Because so many of the stories in Jonna Rae’s book deal with animal communication, she’s donating 20% of her proceeds that evening to the Seattle Humane Society.

From noon thru 6 p.m. Friday, June 1 at East West as a guest consultant, Jonna Rae will use her gentle humor, authenticity and compassion to connect clients not only with loved ones in spirit, but with very specific and accurate information about their past, present and future. She works closely with psychologists, psychiatrists and medical professionals to help bring together science and spirituality in a practical, positive and effective way.

In addition to her private consulting business, during her 35 years as a professional psychic she has read for the International Coptic Conference, Edgar Cayce’s A.R.E., Spiritual Frontiers Fellowship, The Learning Light Foundation in Anaheim, CA and United Research Light Center and Crystal Visions in the Asheville NC area. After Jonna Rae did a reading for Peter Caddy and his infant son in 1984, Caddy invited her to come be the resident psychic at his Mt. Shasta community. Feeling the timing wasn’t right, she respectfully declined.

Through skype, phone, and in person at her Asheville and Hendersonville, NC area offices, Jonna Rae serves an international roster of clients.

Friday, June 2, from 10:30 a.m. – 6:30 p.m., Jonna Rae will guide students to access their natural intuition in her popular Practical Spirituality 101 workshop. Since she was shown how to open people up to their own psychic ability in a meditation in 1979, she has guided thousands of students to accurately see and respectfully communicate intuitive information.

In this streamlined version of her class developed specifically for East West Bookshop, Jonna Rae will use music, guided meditation, gemstones and humor to put students in touch with their inner psychic. Participants will learn how to accurately connect with:

1.    God, or their Higher Self
2.    Their own body, to really hear what it’s trying to tell them
3.    Other’s minds
4.    Animals
5.    People in the spirit world

Participants in this high-energy, interactive class will receive worksheets, a pendulum and chakra disks. Tuition is $65 thru June 1; $75 the day of workshop. Space is limited to insure personal instruction.
