AlphaBEST Education, Inc. Executive Vice President Judy Nee leads panel discussion on benefits of quality, academically enriched afterschool programs

AlphaBEST Education, Inc. will be featured in an interview on Lifetime Television’s popular morning show, “The Balancing Act.” AlphaBEST Executive Vice President Judy Nee joins Dan Domenech, Executive Director of the American Association of School Administrators, and Rob Monson, President of the National Association of Elementary School Principals, to discuss the critical importance of quality afterschool programs in the United States.

“Many parents don’t realize that children spend more than 60 percent of their time outside of school and that these hours can be a critical opportunity to expand learning and develop new interests,” says Nee.

The panel will also discuss AlphaBEST's efforts to improve and expand the nationwide network of academically enriched, quality extended-day programs.

“At AlphaBEST, we strive to provide experiences for children to inspire, engage, discover and learn. We are built around the 21st century student and we focus our cutting-edge curriculum in four key areas – technology, fitness, dramatic arts, and foreign language,” says Nee.

The episode originally aired on May 8, 2012 and will air again on June 12, 2012. “The Balancing Act” airs on Lifetime Television weekdays from 7:00am – 8:00am (ET/PT).
