The poetry collection “Lines and Rhymes from a Wandering Soul: (BOUND TIGHT TO BE SET FREE)” (published by AuthorHouse), by poet and veteran NSR, presents an honest and inspiring account of one who has struggled and overcome.

“This is an excursion into the realm of overwhelming emotions, weaknesses, and joy,” says NSR.

An excerpt from “Lines and Rhymes from a Wandering Soul,” the poem “The End and a New Beginning”:

Now start again fresh and clean,
Refreshed, renewed, and strengthened,
From all that you have seen,
The tears now dried
From all the years you’ve cried.
And know I am your guide.

In any time of economic difficulty and high unemployment there are many readers who seek encouragement. “Lines and Rhymes from a Wandering Soul” provides that encouragement from someone who has been there. “It reminds that He has also been there and is there,” says NSR, “for those who reach out to Him to accept His amazing grace and love.”

About the Author
NSR grew up in a home where violence was the norm and encouragement was rare. Writing was NSR’s escape. She started writing short stories as soon as she learned to form letters and remembers being the only one allowed to touch her mother’s typewriter when she was 6. As she grew into a teenager she began to turn more to poetry than the short story.

Married, with two children, NSR is a U.S. Army Reserve member twice deployed, once to Guatemala, for Hurricane Mitch Relief, and once to Kuwait in support of Operation Iraqi Freedom.
