US Crowdfunding Exchange (USCFX) today announced it has received National Accreditation from the Crowdfunding Accreditation for Platform Standards (CAPS) program for its stock crowdfunding platform.

The (CAPS) program is an initiative by to promote the adoption of best practices for the operation of crowdfunding platforms globally. Accreditation is awarded based on passing qualification criteria in four categories of platform operation:

  •     Operational Transparency
  •     Security of Information And Payments
  •     Platform Functionality
  •     Operational Procedures

“Since the US SEC laws that were recently changed to allow crowdfunding for equity and stock were adopted only weeks ago, we are potentially entering the ‘Wild West’ where opportunities will be everywhere,” commented USCFX spokesman Noah Tier. “It is amazing how proactively and quickly our industry is organizing itself to protect public investors. Thanks to the CAPS program, trusted crowdfunding sites like ours will emerge, and those held to the highest of standards will ultimately win the trust and business of the crowds,” Tier added.

According to a recently published report, crowdfunding raised $1.5 Billion world-wide in 2011, is expected to double in 2012, and this number excludes any issue of capital or stock in the US as crowdfunding for equity in startups and small companies has only been recently legalized in the United States.

The company expects to open its portal in the near future to entrepreneurs and businesses seeking a trading platform so they can get their company listed on the USCF Exchange.

About was founded to enable individual investors to participate in the growth and success of small companies, while helping entrepreneurs succeed through grassroots funding, with special support for companies and investors after the initial public offering of stock. Harnessing the power of the Internet, Social Networking, and recently passed U.S. laws, is a catalyst for change, jobs growth, and innovation. The company can be found online at
