MATCOR Recognized for Outstanding Safety Record

The Industrial Safety Training Council recognized two MATCOR safety achievements for its work in the Gulf Coast Region.

On May 10 Safety & Compliance Manager, Rebecca Haring attended the ISTC’s 2012 Awards Banquet in Beaumont, TX. More than 350 safety and compliance professionals attended the event.

The ISTC recognized two MATCOR safety achievements for its work in the Gulf Coast Region.

The first award recognized MATCOR for having worked 6 years without an OSHA lost workday case involving days away from work

The second award was presented to MATCOR having sustained a ‘zero’ recordable incident rate for at least three consecutive years.

Rebecca Haring said, “It’s a great privilege to accept these ISTC awards on MATCOR’s behalf. The recognition acknowledges every tailgate meeting; the hours dedicated to training; and the value our Gulf Coast team places on the people we work with.” Haring continued, “It shows working safety every day matters.”
