Another perception-altering premium added to the exclusive portfolio of Altamar Brands. Altamar is proud to announce a partnership with Mezcal Pierdre Almas.

Altamar Brands announced today that it has entered into an agreement with Pierde Almas USA to market its Mezcals in California and Texas with the ability to expand to additional strategic markets as the availability of the rare product increases.

Pierde Almas crafts multiple expressions of ultra-premium, single agave Mezcals in Chichicapam, Oaxaca including La Puritita Verda, a mixing mezcal produced for the bar trade, Espadin, Dobadaan, Tequiliana Weber, Tobala, Tobaziche and Pechuga. Expressions range in price from $50 to $240 several of which are harvested in the wild. Methods of production are deeply respectful of artisnal traditions that have remained unchanged since the 16th century and firmly embrace social, cultural and environmental responsibility at the core of the brand’s essence. Each expression of Pierde Almas is distilled from a different species of agave native to the area and delivers the unique characteristics of smell and flavor particular to that plant. Each is produced in small batches and is available in limited quantities according to seasonal production.

“We are honored indeed by the opportunity to represent this special brand in the most important agave spirit markets in the US,” says W. L. Lyons Brown, who founded Altamar to build luxury spirits brands that change perception. “Pierde Almas fits perfectly into our mission and we welcome their brand and their family to our portfolio.”

Altamar also represents, Tequila Ocho, Right Gin and Kubler Absinthe Superieur.
