Triple glazing has provided a boost in sales for Hampshire based KJM Windows & Conservatories. Energy prices continue to rise and the long term outlook is that this will continue. So home owners are looking for ways to increase the insulation of their homes and triple glazing is providing a solution. Triple glazing sales from KJM in Hampshire have grown by 300% in the first quarter of 2012 compared with the last quarter of 2011
The Glass & Glazing Federation energy savings calculator shows that standard 'A' rated double glazed windows could save you over £8000 on your energy bill and save the atmosphere from 25 tonnes of carbon dioxide over the next 20 years, but triple glazing is 40% more thermally efficient so the savings will be far higher.
Managing Director Mark Pearce commented "Increased insulation is what the home and business owner are looking for. Triple glazing is over five times more thermally efficient than old single glazed window's and three times that of older double glazing. With rising engery cost's, everyone is looking to see how they can make savings on their bills"
