Fresno, California (PRWEB) May 14, 2012
Founded by Terance Frazier, former Fresno State University Baseball and member of the Oakland A’s, the Central Cal Baseball Academy teaches baseball fundamentals to young players and awards scholarships to those who earn a 3.5 or better GPA in each academic period. Central Cal Academy teams sometimes travel to participate in tournaments and to visit colleges where the players and their families have an interest in the player attending.
The Central Cal Baseball Academy players regularly participate in community service projects throughout the year, including food drives to support local military families, support for local youth centers, volunteering at local homeless shelters and more. The Central Cal Baseball Academy also delivers help and guidance to ensure each player keeps up with their academics.
The academy is supported by such notable players-turned-coaches as Terry Pendleton, Bob Bennett, Matt Garza, Ricky Manning Jr., Jack Clark, and Tony Gwynn to name a few.
As one of the sponsors for Central Cal Baseball Academy’s Mardi Gras Madness night, a masquerade ball and casino night to benefit the Academy, LinkUs is proud to support the mission of the academy and help the youth of central California gain access to excellent baseball instruction while ensuring they gain self-confidence and a well-rounded sense of community.
