The Lifestyle Brand Aims to Help Kids in Need through new Lifeisgood.com

The new Lifeisgood.com is spreading the power of optimism by giving our community of optimists a place to connect, while inspiring them to help kids in need...We are creating a new model for businesses that want to leverage their brand to give back.

Life is good®, the lifestyle brand who spreads the power of optimism and helps kids in need through its products and non-profit efforts, has created a new web platform designed to connect and inspire its community of optimists to raise funds for The Life is good Playmakers. Life is good has raised over $8m for kids in need to date through its products, annual fundraising music Festival, and other fundraising efforts.

The new site is the next step in seamlessly blending its for-profit and non-profit efforts, by integrating e-commerce and community with its social mission to help kids in need throughout the site’s four sections: Shop, Good Vibes, Playmakers, and Festival. David Oksman, Head of Marketing at Life is good, says it will also create a platform for the brand’s community of optimists to meet, grow and give back.

"The new Lifeisgood.com is spreading the power of optimism by giving our community of optimists a place to connect, while inspiring them to help kids in need just by doing what they like and liking what they do. We truly believe that we are creating a new model for businesses that want to leverage their brand to give back,” says Oksman.

The community will connect through the site’s Good Vibes area, designed to foster the brand’s community of optimists in a visually-striking melting pot of content. Within this “Hub of Optimism,” visitors worldwide will be able to share inspiration by uploading pictures, videos, quotes and stories, adding to an overall anthology of all things optimism.

Lifeisgood.com will also feature a customizable fundraising platform which will allow consumers to turn the activities they already like to do into fundraisers that help kids in need. The Life is good Events will provide consumers with tools to set up personalized fundraising pages, whether they are running a race, throwing a birthday party or hosting a backyard BBQ, and then keep track of donations and measure their progress.

The innovative Shop section of the site provides consumers with a best-in-class e-commerce experience, while the strong visuals and poignant messaging throughout the Playmakers and Festival sections communicate the Playmakers’ mission to help kids in need and the one-of-a-kind Festival’s fundraising efforts to support them.

Life is good hopes the integrative new website will redefine the concept of community and continue to spread the power of optimism, bridging good vibes online with positive changes in the real world.
