UXP Systems has been selected to showcase its Multiscreen Enablement Platform in 3 Key Venues at Show: Imagine Park, CIO.IT Finalists Competition, CableNET(R)

UXP Systems (http://www.uxpsystems.com), a leading provider of multiscreen service enablement and personalization software for cable and telecom operators, will be showcased in three high-visibility venues—Imagine Park, the CIO.IT Finalists Competition and CableNET®—at The Cable Show to be held May 21-23 in Boston.

At each of these venues, UXP will be showcasing its Multiscreen Interaction (MINT) platform as an enabler of personalized, multiscreen video, voice and messaging services. The platform works with existing operator IT and Network Services to seamlessly orchestrate, unify and personalize various operator services across smartphones, tablets and PCs.

On Monday, May 21 at 11:30 a.m. at Imagine Park, UXP executives will be joined in a demonstration by Brendan Paddick, CEO of Columbus Communications, the largest cable operator in the pan-Caribbean region. Columbus Communications has implemented MINT and is the first cable operator in the world to launch a true multiscreen bundle, under the “Flow-to-Go” name. Flow-to-Go takes video everywhere and adds to it with multiscreen home phone, messaging and personalization.

On Tuesday, May 22, UXP CEO Gemini Waghmare will be a featured presenter at the CIO.IT 2012 Finalists Competition and, for the entire conference at the UXP booth in the CableNET® section of the show, the MINT Platform will be available for demonstration.

The UXP Systems Multiscreen Interaction Platform is the cable/telecom industry's first field-proven enterprise platform for enabling the rapid and seamless launch of multiple operator services in one enterprise framework. It provides the necessary utilities and out-of-the box service models for enabling a wide array of video, voice, messaging and next-generation services on any screen, in a unified and integrated manner. The MINT platform enables operators to offer ‘one app to rule them all' for tablets and smartphones and smart televisions, across platforms, drastically cutting time to market, cost and ongoing maintenance.

“Next generation cable is not just about TV, it’s about leveraging the full portfolio on new screens and in new business models,” said Gemini Waghmare, CEO of UXP Systems. “We look forward to all of the opportunities we will have in Boston to demonstrate how those services can be unified and personalized through the UXP Systems platform.”

Benefits of the MINT platform include:

  •     Platform utilities to orchestrate and unify multivendor network services across tablet, smartphone, set-top-box and PC
  •     Personalization & service federation engine to drive the user experience lifecycle for multiscreen services
  •     Rapid integration framework to support operator network and IT systems
  •     Pre-developed multiscreen service models and workflows for operator and 3rd party services
  •     Out-of-the-box, user-experience and business processes for multiscreen services
  •     Rich, pre-built templates for multiscreen user registration, maintenance, service use and administration
