Birst to Help Nefab Identify Meaningful Trends by Comparing Snapshots of Sales Performance Over Time

Birst Inc., the leader in agile business analytics, today announced that Nefab Packaging, a leading provider of industrial packaging and crating solutions, is deploying Birst to simultaneously enhance – and reduce time spent on – its sales-related reporting. With faster, easier, and more robust analysis of its sales pipeline and performance, Nefab expects to be able to increase employee productivity and more efficiently allocate sales resources.

To identify trends in sales pipeline performance managers must run multiple reports and manually compare them in a cumbersome, time-consuming process. Nefab’s initial Birst deployment will greatly reduce time spent on reporting by providing fast, easy access to pipeline-related information and enabling sales managers to easily and securely distribute reports to account representatives. Managers will be able to better optimize the allocation of sales resources with access to trend reports that compare snapshots of sales performance over time and customizable exception reports that flag notable developments.

In evaluating a number of BI solutions that integrate with Salesforce.com, Nefab identified Birst as uniquely being able to incorporate data from additional applications. In a later phase of its implementation, Nefab plans to further streamline its reporting process by leveraging this capability to combine and analyze its post-sales data as well.
