Medical Consulting Group (MCG) picked up a silver award for a LASIK brochure and a bronze award for a cataract education packet, both created for eye surgeon Kerry Solomon, MD, of Carolina Eye Care Physicians in Charleston, South Carolina.

After a national panel of judges reviewed nearly 4,000 entries for creativity, quality, message effectiveness, consumer appeal, graphic design, and overall impact, only 729 gold, silver, and bronze were bestowed.

The Healthcare Advertising Awards is the oldest, largest, and most respected healthcare advertising competition. MCG’s creative team previously received three merit awards in the organization’s 2011 competition, sponsored by Healthcare Marketing Report, the premier publication covering all aspects of healthcare marketing, advertising, and strategic business development.

Since 2003, MCG has received 37 gold and silver “Addy” awards from the American Advertising Federation of the Ozarks.

MCG’s integrated team of experienced creative and marketing professionals develops targeted, industry-specific multimedia marketing campaigns, social media management, and fully-customized websites for premier medical practices and corporations. Other divisions of the company provide consulting services to the medical industry and development, management, and billing services for outpatient surgery centers across the United States.
