Eighty percent of weight loss is eating right.
San Diego, CA (PRWEB) May 17, 2012
By using leaner cuts of meat and smart product swaps, creator of the Quick and Fit Cooking Method, Ayla Skye, shows off new and useful techniques to start cooking smart and saving money all while melting off those unwanted pounds. The next class will be held Monday, May 21st at 6pm at the Cooking For Life School in Kearney Mesa, San Diego, California. The first class sold out, so make sure to purchase your ticket in advance.
A local San Diegan, Skye gave her first public cooking instruction class (previously private instruction only) at the Cooking For Life School and helped educate the attending crowd of couples, working moms and busy professionals in preparing healthy cuisine that still tasted great and could be prepared with minimal effort in less than 20 minutes.
“All of us love to eat meat and potatoes, but we still want to lose weight. With the tips that I was able to provide the class, they can now have ideas on how to slim down while still enjoying their all-time favorite meals,” said Skye.
Healthy cooking all-star and the owner of the school, Melissa Currey, gracefully assisted at the event. Currey acted as sous chef and provided extra advice and valuable ideas on an all-natural way of eating. Together they show attendees how to enjoy delicious favorites packed with nutrition in a fraction of the time. The class consists of healthy cooking tips, weight loss tricks, modern home economics, and how to reduce the cost and prep time of dinner at home.
In addition, the first "How Not to Cook-Book" by Skye will also be available for sale at the facility’s soon to open kitchen store. The book shall further supplement the information given in the class by guiding attendees in making smarter choices at the grocery store and buying local food items, as well as learning how to eat more and work out less.
Just in time for summer, both Ayla and the Cooking For Life team are committed to showing people how to hit their weight loss goals, improve their health, and do so in a fun and easy way.
Quick and Fit is all about fit fast food, grab and go meals, and having dinner on ready in 10-20 minutes after work or a busy day. By using healthier ingredients and shopping smart, an average grocery bill compared to the check when eating out is cut in half and so are the calories! No more waiting in line or to be served, and no hidden salts, fats, or sugars. Watch the pounds melt away with all time favorite meals made healthier in a snap!
