Knight Frank was last night chosen as the first ever RESI Awards UK Sales Agency of the Year by UBM, organisers of the annual RESI Conference and publisher of Property Week.

The prestigious panel of judges included key industry figures Peter Vernon, Tony Pidgley and Steve Morgan; the panel described the team as demonstrating "a stellar performance in 2011."

The Knight Frank Residential Development team work across diverse developments from the likes of One Hyde Park, One Tower Bridge, Cornwall Terrace and NEO Bankside to smaller regional developments such as City Lofts, Sheffield, The Exchange, Leicester and The Grove in Surrey.

Knight Frank sponsored the award for Development of the Year and was shortlisted for two other awards; Residential Consultancy Practice of the Year and International Sales Agency of the Year.

Stephan Miles-Brown, Knight Frank Head of Residential Development, comments;

‘We are delighted to be recognised as the UK’s strongest-performing sales agency. The awards were set up by UBM as an extension of the RESI Conference. The conference is designed to recognise and reward leading players in all aspects of residential property including development, investment, management, construction and funding.
