myCircle TV is the new social way people will watch videos on the web.
Lyon, France (PRWEB) May 24, 2012
Videos take a growing part in the communication on social networks. If a web user likes them, he might recommend them or comment them. More commonly said, he shares them. But up to now, he was unable to go further in the social experience and watch his video at the same time as his friends. In this aim, myCircle TV is launched to extend the user social experience around videos on the web.
"We consider that video is clearly something social. Indeed, if one person generally read a book or a newspaper alone, people usually watch videos together. And we think the power of the web can make it much more amazing." says Pierre-Amaury Brun, myCircle TV Product Manager. "myCircle TV is the new social way people will watch videos on the web."
In one click, a web surfer organizes his own showing around videos he want to share. He can invite friends on his social networks to join him. They will live together strong moments, funny or emotional, and will be able to chat and talk about it.
"The major challenge was to design an app as intuitive as possible and to support the service in many different ways. It includes mobile devices, takes into account most popular video formats, and connects people through Facebook and Google +. It took us a lot of time and energy but we finally carried it out successfully. This is a great satisfaction.", Pierre-Amaury precises.
The service has been officially launched on the 2nd of May 2012. Since then, a Firefox extension is available. It detects Youtube videos and leads the user directly into the web app.
