ERP and CRM in the Cloud

Cloud Power

The ability to run CRM and ERP on Azure is an attractive 'one cloud for all' option.

Marlborough, MA (PRWEB) May 22, 2012

Altico Advisors (http://www.AlticoAdvisors.com) - a Microsoft Gold Partner headquartered in Massachusetts specializing in Dynamics GP/ERP and CRM solutions – will soon have even more cloud based options to offer clients. With the upcoming release of Microsoft Dynamics GP 2013 for accounting and ERP, Altico Advisors clients will be able to run their CRM, ERP, and asset tracking systems in the Microsoft Azure cloud, which adds a greater level of security and reliability to cloud-based business management software.

When Microsoft Dynamics CRM 2011 was released in late 2010, it was the first version of the Microsoft CRM application to be offered with both on premises and cloud deployment options. Then Altico Service +, a CRM accelerator developed by Altico Advisors for companies that need to track assets by lot and serial number, track RMAs, support incidents, service contracts and more, was released early this year. And in the fourth quarter, Microsoft Dynamics GP 2013 will be released with an option to deploy this cutting edge ERP system in the Microsoft cloud. Thus, by the end of 2012, all three applications will run on the Microsoft Azure platform.

“This is great news for Altico clients,” explains Mike Kean, President. “Demand for cloud-based solutions has been steadily rising and the ability to run everything on Azure is an attractive ‘one cloud for all’ option.”

Azure is an open and flexible cloud platform that enables companies to quickly build, deploy and manage applications across a global network of Microsoft-managed datacenters. Azure is always up and always on. And for the end user it also means unlimited servers and unlimited storage.

Kean continues, “Here at Altico, we practice what we preach. We don’t just deploy business solutions in the cloud for our clients. We run our own Microsoft Dynamics CRM 2011 and Altico Service + applications in the cloud, too. And when Microsoft Dynamics GP 2013 is released later this year, we’ll be able to run a world-class ERP system in the Microsoft cloud, too.”

Altico will reap the same benefits as its clients: reduced IT support, guaranteed up time, elimination of a reliance on in-house servers, a stable infrastructure, increased security, global reach, and a consolidated platform.
