I’ve learned more about ‘brand marketing’ from the entertainers at HQ than any subject taught by any college professor.
New York NY (PRWEB) May 16, 2012
On Wednesday, May 16th, NYU and Columbia University held their commencement events; NYU’s at Yankee Stadium and Columbia University’s at their Morningside Campus; HeadQuarters Gentlemen's Club in New York City at 552 West 38th Street, has decided to open its doors on Saturday, May 19th, to help provide college graduates (over the age of 21) with a 45-minute brand marketing seminar (8:30-9:15PM) on how to market oneself when searching for a job .
“When I was a college graduate from SUNY Purchase’s Theater Arts & Film Conservatory, I didn’t realize that I was going to end up in Marketing, or at HeadQuarters Gentlemen’s Club -- that said, I’ve learned more about ‘brand marketing’ from the entertainers at HQ than any subject taught by any college professor.” says Adam Weissman, Marketing Manager at HeadQuarters Gentlemen’s Club. “Basically, the entertainers have it down to a science. They create an aura of celebrity, so gentlemen feel like they’re in the presence of a Kardashian or Angelina Jolie.”
This Saturday, on May 19th, from 8:30-9:15PM, recent college graduates from Columbia and NYU (with proof of diploma) will be treated to complimentary admission at HeadQuarters Gentlemen’s Club as well as complimentary admission to the 45-minute seminar on Brand Marketing as taught by Marketing Manager, Adam Weissman. The seminar is entitled: “Everything You Need to Know About Brand Marketing, I Learned From A Stripper.” As a way of showing appreciation for all recent college graduates, any graduate (from any college) with proof of a 2012 college graduate diploma will also receive free admission to the club and event.
With economic woes and student debt at the forefront of the national debate, 2012 college graduates will have a tougher time landing a new job this year than their parents and older siblings did in the past. The job market is inundated with people that have lots of experience willing to apply it for less. Adam Weissman shares “I haven’t been out of work since I was sixteen years old. I worked through college, and always had a new job lined up before I left the previous one. While it may be presumptuous of me to tell college graduates with fancy degrees how to get a job... exotic dancers are masters of networking and self promotion. What the ‘Everything You Need to Know About Brand Marketing, I Learned From A Stripper’ Seminar is all about - is winning.”
College graduates who plan to attend the seminar can look forward to learning three core principles that will help them succeed in finding a job. 15-minutes will be devoted to each core principle, with 7-10 minutes of lecture, and the remainder of each 15-minute block for Questions & Answers. Principle 1: Strut Your Stuff (all about turning weaknesses into assets), Principle 2: Know Thy Crowd (all about who an individual is pitching to), Principle 3: Game Time or Game Over (how to deliver an awesome presentation) -- all principles will be provided with real life case studies learned from the exotic entertainers at HeadQuarters Gentlemen’s Club. Those who plan to attend the event should make advance reservations via email, or by calling the main line at 212-967-4646. Space is limited.
After the event, college graduates interested in pursuing a career in exotic entertaining will have the opportunity to interact with real life entertainers, firsthand, and audition. Sonic, the General Manager, says “Whatever is going on with the economy, this is a situation where all college graduates can win.”
HeadQuarters Gentlemen’s Club was formed in 2005 by industry stars from the nightlife industry, it is a bi-level club that includes a bistro style restaurant with full dining options.
