COCKSPUR USA, marketer of the award-winning Barbadian brand, Cockspur Rum, has announced the launch of a collection of summer entertaining recipes.
Cockspur Rum has introduced a collection of both food and drink recipes inspired by barbecues, parties and gatherings for the upcoming summer season. The booklet features many delectable recipes including Coconut Crusted Shrimp and Chicken with Bajan Hula Sauce, the fruit-filled Bajan Sling punch, as well as the makings for a Bajan Party Bar. These creations sprung from the inventive minds of industry experts Shaun Daugherty and Paul Higgins.
Shaun Daugherty has been in the bar and restaurant business for 25 years working in various roles such as bartender, trainer and manager. When he is not at his head bartending gig, Shaun is building his own business, Your At Home Bar, LLC. This web-based pursuit introduces food and drink recipes via YouTube channel, Shaun the Bartender. Paul Higgins, a 40-year veteran of the hospitality industry, serves as a culinary advisor for Your At Home Bar, LLC. His culinary talent, practiced in hotels, restaurants, cruise lines and private aviation, has earned him many honors including the American Culinary Federation Certified Executive Chef, as well as their Cleveland Chapter’s “Chef of the Year”.
