“We are excited that Tesla Motors and Standard Textile and Tesla have added EASEworks MCR to their operations”
Mission Viejo, CA (PRWEB) May 18, 2012
Both Tesla Motors and Standard Textile have selected EASEworks Manufacturing Change Control (MCR) software to manage and control change in their manufacturing operations.
Tesla Motors, who already uses EASEworks for Work Measurement, Labor Standards, Line Balancing, Work Instructions and Manufacturing Document Management, has added the EASEworks MCR module to their production operations.
After an extensive search for the best Manufacturing Change Control software in the marketplace, Standard Textile selected EASE Inc. to provide their solution. Their goal during the search process was to find a tool that provided a solution to support changes in their manufacturing and operating environment with the ability to manage every step of the manufacturing change control process from request and submission through verification and ultimately implementation.
Michael Linos, CEO and President of EASE Inc. said, “We have customers that purchase our entire suite of EASEworks software and we have others that start with one module. Standard Textile is a great example of a customer that was able to initially purchase one module of the EASEworks software to satisfy an immediate need. On the other end of the scale is Tesla Motors who has been an EASE client since early in 2011, Tesla started out with our Work Measurement products Labor Standards and Line Balancing and then later in the year added our Work Instructions and Document Management products. They are now ready to add and implement our MCR module as part of the entire suite of EASE software products.”
EASEworks Manufacturing Change Request (MCR) software is a deeply integrated tool that offers complete control of manufacturing change throughout the manufacturing operations processes. Using an integrated web-based interface, EASEworks MCR connects disparate departments to improve efficiency via automatic task assignment, routing, scheduling, notification, and escalation of incomplete tasks.
