On May 24th, Mark Doucet, the Founder and CTO of SKYFIBER, will deliver the presentation, “Past, Present and Future of Free Space Optics” to the Radio Networks Session at CUDI’s (Corporación Universitaria para el Desarrollo de Internet) Spring meeting. Mr. Doucet has been involved in the development and deployment of Optical Wireless networks for almost two decades, and founded the SKYFIBER/Dominion LaserCom Corporation in 1996. Based in Texas, SKYFIBER is an international provider of Optical Wireless Broadband solutions, and holds 17 key patents pertaining to Optical Wireless Broadband (OWB) / Free Space Optics (FSO) technology.
CUDI is a non-profit consortium created to build and operate a high-performance backbone network throughout Mexico, specifically dedicated for research and education.
