Pronto Post, South Florida’s largest direct marketing and product fulfillment company is pleased to announce the promotion of long time employee Michael Suita to Fulfillment Manager. Michael is in charge of product fulfillment operations. Pronto has been expanding its product fulfillment business and is positioned for further growth in the market.
Michael Suita began working at Pronto Post in 1999 and over the years has handled various positions in the company. He began as a shipping clerk. He was a mechanic for the mailing equipment and handled the postal preparation for the direct mail side. He was recently promoted from Production Manager to Fulfillment Manager as part of comprehensive personnel realignment at the company.
As Fulfillment Manager, Michael is responsible for the receiving and storage of products, warehouse control and inventory, and the fulfilling of product orders. This includes the pick and pack process and shipping the products to their destinations. Michael works closely with other members of the product fulfillment team, which includes customer service, warehousing, shipping and the accounting departments. He is also responsible for the Quality Assurance of the product fulfillment operation.
“Michael has been an important asset of Pronto Post’s for many years. He has a broad range of expertise and experience in running the operations at Pronto,” said Pronto’s General Manager, Andrew Diamond. “He is handling the management of our growing product fulfillment business exceptionally well. We and our clients have noticed a dramatic improvement in error reduction and Michael is well liked by our fulfillment customers.”
Product fulfillment is a process that requires concentration, organization, and attention to details. It is an involved process that contains many points where errors can occur and a strong system of quality control must be implemented to avoid these potential errors. “Michael’s track record since assuming this position has been outstanding,” Diamond said. “He has proven that we made the right choice in putting him in charge of our product fulfillment operation. He is willing to do whatever is necessary to complete his tasks accurately and on time. He has shown on numerous occasions that he is willing to go that extra mile to provide the highest level of customer satisfaction. Plus he is a great team member.”
Pronto Post has been in business for over thirty years and began as a direct mail fulfillment shop. Last year they moved into a new 55,000 square foot facility that will allow them to grow their product fulfillment business. It has been the sector of the business that has shown the most growth, and Pronto is investing its marketing resources in continuing that growth.
“Pronto’s continuing success is closely tied to the growth of e-commerce. Every day more and more companies big and small are selling their products on the web. More people are buying their products online, through computers, laptops, tablets and smart phones. The demand for warehousing, order processing and shipping will continue to grow. We see this as the future of Pronto Post,” Diamond remarked with a smile.
