We are taking on this business model as a way to bring the wonderful Hawaiian themed products to a neighborhood that is missing a coffee and smoothie shop.

See a need, fill a need. That’s the motto of Maui Wowi Hawaiian’s new franchise operators in San Antonio, Texas. Miles and Beth Erwin have joined the Hawaiian coffee and all-natural, fresh fruit smoothie company with the vision of offering their community a dual concept of premium coffee and espresso beverages, as well as healthy and refreshing fruit smoothies.
After a frustrating attempt at finding a convenient place to get good coffee in their area, Miles and Beth discovered they had a unique opportunity to invest in a business that could provide this very service.
“Maui Wowi Hawaiian Coffees & Smoothies has beverages appealing to the entire family and is a franchise that will allow us to be a year-round destination!” said Beth.
Miles and Beth have a true fondness of Hawaii after marrying at the beach on the island of Kauai. Soaking up the sun, culture, and beautiful sights, they experienced paradise and are excited to share that same Hawaiian vibe with the San Antonio area. “We really felt the Aloha spirit come through with Maui Wowi. We are taking on this business model as a way to bring the wonderful Hawaiian themed products to a neighborhood that is missing a coffee and smoothie shop,” said Beth.
Miles currently works as a foodservice broker, while Beth has a career in medical device sales. The two of them have 20 years of combined sales and marketing experience that will allow them to drive business and grow year to year. Miles plans to devote his time to building the operation beginning with a retail location to meet the need for quality coffee and family friendly smoothies in their community. Miles and Beth also see great opportunity in working events and venues with a mobile unit called a Ka’anapli Cart. In addition, they plan to establish a catering business that will bring their tropical drinks and Hawaiian atmosphere to private events like corporate functions, graduations, and weddings.
“I really feel good about Maui Wowi and the Aloha spirit we encountered. We look forward to growing our new little family with our new ‘Ohana!” said Miles.
