Scott Tucker, the TV Wildlife show host looks like he's planning a return trip to the Galapagos Islands according to HomeAndRecreation.org. The recreational blog has reported that due to continuing interest in Scott Tucker's TV show 'Expedition New England' another fact finding research trip appears be on the horizon possibly in March 2013.
Scott Tucker's TV wildlife show airs on NHTV in Connecticut and thanks to his amazing wildlife photography and videos he's become something of a local celebrity in the New Haven, CT. area. Back in April Tucker was interviewed on the Connecticut based WTNH TV station and thanks to that feature it appears that interest in his wildlife show is steadily growing.
Tucker's documentary series has been on air for several years now and before the Galapagos feature the show mainly concentrated on animal life on the Long Island Sound. Tucker's show always places a considerable emphasis on preservation and the show's educational angle has helped it to gain popularity. When Expedition New England featured footage from Tucker's trip to the Galapagos Islands the show's popularity seemed to increase even more.
The Galapagos Islands were made famous by Charles Darwin back in 1865 after the renowned naturalist visited the Islands before developing his groundbreaking theory of natural selection. The remote Islands are home to some of the most diverse animal life anywhere on earth and have been relatively unchanged for millions of years. The Galapagos Archipelago is now a world heritage site and is commonly referred to as the 'Enchanted Islands'.
