Manama, Bahrain (PRWEB) May 22, 2012
Over 275 entrepreneurs from as far afield as Guatemala to Japan will be descending on Bahrain’s iconic Bahrain International Circuit to hold their Global Leadership Conference between 24 - 26 May 2012.
These entrepreneurs will arrive in Bahrain to continue their ongoing learning and strategic vision, which are two of the main hallmarks of a successful entrepreneur. Reflecting on this achievement, Mr Basim Al-Saie who chairs the GLC Bahrain Committee said, “That is why the Entrepreneurs’ Organisation - a global network of more than 8,000 entrepreneurs in over 40 countries constituting 121 chapters - organises annual Global Leadership Conferences [GLC] through which structured information is shared and dispersed to its Chapter officers through strategic leadership sessions”
Mr Al-Saie further explained, “these GLCs are held in North America and another in an international location. In 2012 this annual milestone event has already taken place in Vancouver, BC, Canada and is about to take place in the Kingdom of Bahrain between 24 - 26 May 2012. GLCs are critical in ensuring the continued success and growth of the organisation and its members as the two days of training will provide officers the fundamentals and the key responsibilities they need to effectively lead their Chapters.”
“The local Bahraini Chapter of the Entrepreneurs’ Organisation have been working at bringing this event to the Kingdom for two years under the leadership of Mr. Basim Al-Saie and his committee,” commented Mr Abdulrahman Almoayed, the outgoing president of EO Bahrain. “With the GLC’s final arrival on our shores, we are thrilled to showcase Bahrain as a haven for entrepreneurship, and hope to also use the occasion as a further catalyst to engender entrepreneurship in Bahrain and persist in engaging with the local business community at every level to extend the age old Bahraini entrepreneurial spirit.” Mr Almoayed concluded.
GLC Bahrain has a further significance this year for it is at these particular events that the annual EO Global Chairman hand-overs occur. During EO GLC Bahrain, the reigns of the organisation will be passed from the safe hands of Mr. Kevin Langley who over saw the growth of the organisation in 2011/2012 along to Mr. Samer Kurdi, a Saudi Entrepreneur to lead the organisation as Global Chairman of the Board for 2012/2013.
