We [must] ..."strengtrhen schools as the heart of health."
San Diego, CA (PRWEB) May 22, 2012
The latest study from the Institute of Medicine outlines the scary facts on our nation’s obesity. See the study here: http://iom.edu/Reports/2012/Accelerating-Progress-in-Obesity-Prevention.aspx
The solution? The study recommends we “.. strengthen schools as the heart of health.” KFIT Health is helping students take control of their health. Wednesday, May 23, 2012 Los Angeles youth fitness specialist Anna Renderer will workout with the second graders in Mrs. Pond’s class at Golden Avenue Elementary. The children will get their own exercise dvd, Jumpstart Your Health and a health journal. The goal --to have fun and learn how much fun it is to exercise.
Date: Wednesday May 23rd, 7:00am
Location: Golden Ave Elementary in Lemon Grove.
8025 Lincoln St. Lemon Grove, CA
This event is sponsored by KFIT Health.
