Pittsburgh-based InventHelp® attempts to submit clients’ inventions to companies for review.

InventHelp®, America’s largest invention submission company, announces that one of its clients, an inventor from California, has designed a hair-care accessory that could protect the user’s hairline and ears when curling or straightening hair. This invention is patented.

The “Handy Bandy” would fit around the user’s head and cover sensitive areas with a protective pad. This feature could help to prevent burns from hair styling instruments. Easy to slip on and off, the Handy Bandy would be adjustable and flexible to fit anyone.

The Handy Bandy would consist of an elastic band that would measure 11 inches in diameter. A pad composed of batting covered with a non-scorched material would be attached to a portion of the band. The pad would measure one and a quarter inches wide. To use, an individual would fit the band around the head and position the pad over the hairline and ears before curling or straightening hair with a hot hair styling instrument.

InventHelp® is attempting to submit the invention to companies for review. If substantial interest is expressed, the company will attempt to negotiate for a sale or royalties for the inventor. For more information, telephone Dept. 09-DNF-1186 at (800) 851-6030.
