It is said that “the devil is in the details,” and for two decades, Vasont Systems has helped organizations get down to the details of their content and save millions of dollars. Since 1992, Vasont Systems has been developing content management software that helps businesses manage their most critical content assets, not as documents, but as reusable components at the sub-document level to gain accuracy across their communications and tremendously reduce editorial, translation, and publishing costs. In 2012, the Company proudly celebrates 20 years as a preferred provider of high-end component CMS software as recommended by industry consultants. This milestone will be commemorated with staff and clients at their annual Vasont Users’ Group Meeting on September 24-27, 2012 in Hershey, PA.

“Congratulations on the 20th anniversary. Vasont Systems is a leading advocate of well-managed content and continues as a strong supporter of the DITA community and the crucial requirement to manage individual topics effectively,” said JoAnn Hackos, President of Comtech Services, Inc. and leading industry consultant.

From its initial launch, the Company and its products received recognition as a major player in the field. At their first conference exhibition, the Seybold Seminars selected the Vasont® CMS as one of the show's "Hot Picks." Vasont Systems was named to the EContent 100 list of "companies that matter most in the digital content industry" four times as a "stand-out company" in Content Management by a panel of respected industry professionals. KMWorld, publishers of information on content, document and knowledge management, named Vasont Systems to their list of "The Companies to Watch.” The Company was also named to ContentWorld's content500® Plus list of top Internet content technology leaders.

With a heavy focus on serving their clients, the Company led the way to some of today’s current trends. In 2002, Vasont Systems became the first CCMS software company to offer and sell a hosted content management model to better serve clients who lack IT support for their technical communications departments. Based on the demand for an easy Web interface for hundreds of global content contributors to submit content to the CMS, Vasont Systems developed the Vasont WebLNX® product to fill the need in 2010. To support its clients, Vasont Systems held annual Users’ Group Meetings since 2000. Now in its 13th year, the annual event continues to provide networking, training and support for Vasont users.

“We’ve reached many goals over the past 20 years,” said Richard Schiding, President of Vasont Systems. “One of our greatest achievements was choosing the right people to develop our products and provide excellent support to our clients. We are fortunate that the four programmers and analysts who originally developed the solid foundation of the Vasont CMS are still with our Company today.”

Vasont Systems continues its commitment to help organizations of all sizes publish their multilingual technical documentation, training materials, and other business information in the most efficient and effective way. The Company provides content management software and data services that enable organizations to consolidate, create, manage, and store their multilingual content as a single source for delivery to multiple media channels. By enabling maximum content reuse and repurposing, along with providing high quality customer service and support, Vasont Systems helps customers achieve their strategic business goals.
