Kovel/Fuller wins Frangelico account on AMC's The Pitch. Results were announced at the end of AMC’s The Pitch episode airing Sunday, May 20th. “We’re thrilled with the win,” stated agency President/Partner John Fuller. “The opportunity to work with the marketing team at Campari USA to help expand their newly-acquired Frangelico property is an exciting prospect for our agency; and, one that plays really well into our wheelhouse of reigniting and rapidly growing challenger brands.”
Chief Creative Officer/Partner Lee Kovel discussed the process of The Pitch: “The show was tremendously fun to do, but its format allows just ten days from initial briefing to actual pitch. That’s a very aggressive timetable for this type of assignment. So, I’m deeply proud of the way the internal team came together to deliver outstanding creative thinking nested in ironclad strategy.”
Kovel/Fuller presented four unique branding campaigns, all integrated across print, TV, point-of-purchase, and second screen/digital initiatives. They also conducted independent consumer research and shared their insights with Campari America CEO Gerry Ruvo and the marketing executives as part of their Pitch.
Following the Pitch, the agency created and launched an online sweepstakes for the brand that is currently live (viewable @ MyFrangelico.com), and is developing a multichannel Q4 campaign.
