NJ Fashion School for Kids Announces 2nd Annual Fashion Show June 5, 2012

Future Fashionistas, a popular 2 year old company dedicated to nurturing aspiring young fashion designers as well as those interested in exploring the world of fashion design announces their annual Fashion Show.

"Our fashion show highlights the success & creativity of our students work throughout the year. It's an exhilarating experience for everyone involved!" states Hallie Dennis, co-founder of Future Fashionistas.

Future Fashionistas 2nd Annual Fashion Show Finale takes place 6:30pm June 5th at The Loft @ The Wilshire Grand Hotel. 350 Pleasant Valley Way, West Orange, NJ. Doors open at 6pm and advance ticket purchase is suggested.

The fashion show if the culmination of a year of fashion classes where the students model their own creations. All Future Fashionistas are encouraged to participate and they are expecting over 100 participants, according to Mindy Scheier, co-founder of Future Fashionistas.

“The kids and their parents absolutely love the experience, cheering as the kids strut their own creations down the runway with the music and lights pumping everyone up,” stated Ms. Scheier.    Music is provided by Sugar Entertainment and Production by Impact Productions. All the kids have their hair and makeup done by Dekko & Co Salon of Verona backstage before the show, adding to the excitement and reality of the fashion show.

Future Fashionistas enriches and develops skills from fashion illustration to sewing & construction through classes, parties, events and camps. Locations in Livingston & Westfield, NJ. After school programs offered throughout the area. Students range from ages 6-18 allowing pure growth and increased complexity as their talents develop.

Future Fashionistas was founded in 2010 by Hallie Dennis & Mindy Scheier, of Livingston, NJ, both former fashion designers and stylists. Their energy, passion & enthusiasm has fueled the companies success and growth.

"Future Fashionistas inspires me to design my own clothes and now that I've taken this class, fashion is my future.  I am so thankful to Hallie and Mindy for being my inspiration and giving me this wonderful opportunity," states Caitlyn Sleeman, a 4th grader & long-time student.
