As ecommerce holds steady growth in the U.S., Brazil is a market that is surging in ecommerce as it becomes the strongest economy in South America.

Fortune3, a shopping cart software leader in the U.S. is expanding is services to help internet retailers better enter the Brazilian market by offering hosting within Brazil as well as ecommerce website translation, local payment processing, and shipping integration with Brazil's Correios / SedEx.

In 2011, eMarketer reports that the number of ecommerce shoppers reached 31.9 million in Brazil. As the country's economy and infrastructure continues to grow, we expect this number to grow along with it as well.
