The stages of the development of a flower – whether it be a bud, bloom, or a seedpod – mirrors the several stages of the human life. Jim Miller urges readers to discover these parallels through his book Blooms of the Heart.
Readers will most likely catch their breaths when laying eyes upon the author and photographer’s images of flowers and the human form. The images included in this collection, incredibly beautiful, curious, and fascinating, are designed to take readers on a journey through time and season to view the similarities that exist between the life of a flower and that of the human being.
The concept behind this book and the photographs included were inspired by an overflowing flower garden and the author’s life long study of nature and photography. More than just a book of photographs, Blooms of the Heart will show readers that the beauty that is very abundant in nature takes every size, shape, and form.
