Major, Lindsey & Africa (MLA), the world’s largest legal search firm, announced today that Pete Boerner (Houston), Darin R. Morgan (Philadelphia and Washington, D.C.) and Ronald J. Nye (Chicago) have been named partners. The three join MLA’s Advisory Board.

Pete Boerner, Managing Partner - Texas and member of the In-House Practice group leads MLA’s offices in Texas and has almost fifteen years of executive recruiting experience. Prior to joining MLA, Boerner worked with a global executive search firm where he conducted hundreds of search assignments across all industries with a particular emphasis on senior legal professionals for both public and private companies domestically and abroad. He earned his B.A. from The University of Texas at Austin, his J.D. from South Texas College of Law and is a member of the State Bar of Texas. Prior to his career in executive search, Boerner held roles of increasing responsibility at Transamerica Fund Distributors, a mutual fund management and distribution company.

Darin R. Morgan, Managing Partner of the Philadelphia office and Partner in the Washington, D.C. office, is a member of the Associate Practice Group. He represents both associates and partners in the lateral market. Morgan earned a B.A., cum laude, from the University of Pennsylvania and a J.D., with honors, from George Washington Law School. Morgan practiced law with Fox Rothschild and Berger & Montague before joining MLA.

Ronald J. Nye, Partner and member of the Partner Practice Group, represents individual partners and partner groups seeking growth opportunities. He is also experienced in facilitating law firm mergers. Nye graduated, summa cum laude, with a B.B.A. from the University of Notre Dame and earned a J.D. from the University of Virginia School of Law. Prior to joining MLA, Nye was a corporate partner in the Chicago office of Winston & Strawn.
