Davenport University is pleased to partner with The Wellness Corporation in order to better assist our students," said Paul Ballard, Executive Director of Student Services at Davenport University.

The Wellness Corporation announced that as of July 1, 2012 it will be partnering with Davenport University of Michigan to provide WellConnect student support services to all 12 campuses in addition to their online student population.

"Davenport University is pleased to partner with the Wellness Corporation in order to better assist our students," said Paul Ballard, Executive Director of Student Services at Davenport University. "We value the ability of assisting our students in getting where the world is going in business, technology and health professions."

The Wellness Corporation stated that they too are pleased about the upcoming partnership with the university. "We look forward to providing specialized WellConnect services to best support Davenport's goals for student persistence, retention and graduation rates," stated Jennifer Gendron, LICSW and Director of WellConnect Student Services.

The WellConnect program provides free and confidential resources and referrals to all students and their household members. They will have immediate access to a licensed counselor 24 hours a day, 7 days a week for in the moment support, assessment and referral to a counselor for face to face or telephonic counseling. In addition, The Wellness Corporation will collaborate with student advisors, staff and faculty in providing a highly supportive environment for all University students whether on campus or online.

"Whether it is health and wellness issues, assistance with budgeting, balancing school and life or being a new parent, the partnership with the Wellness Corporation will assist our students in getting through rough patches that sometimes derail their success," said Ballard. "This program embraces the University's culture of caring for our students, and gives our faculty and staff comfort that students will receive the services that they need to be not just successful in in the classroom, but also successful in their lives."
