The creation of this new position highlights the tremendous importance Swisslog places on product quality and client satisfaction.

Swisslog, a leading provider of automated materials transport and medication management solutions for hospitals, today announced that Lem Tingley has been named director of quality, a new position at the nearly 100-year old company.

Building on the company’s strong foundation of quality and reliability, Tingley will have broad latitude to work throughout the organization to identify, develop and support continuous quality improvement programs. Specifically, Tingley is charged with recommending and implementing quality improvement initiatives for the company’s flagship product, the TransLogic Pneumatic Tube System (PTS). In addition, he will work with the company’s Customer Support team to identify the key attributes that create client loyalty.

Immediately prior to joining Swisslog, Tingley was a senior manager of product quality and reliability at Quantum Corp. Before that, he held progressively more responsible quality and engineering positions at several technology companies in the Denver metropolitan area.

Tingley holds six professional certifications, including ASQ Certified Master Black Belt, ASQ Certified Software Quality Engineer and Net Promoter Certified Associate Professional. He earned a bachelor of science in mechanical engineering from the University of Colorado at Boulder.
