Merit Selected by Shea Homes to Manage Origen, a Sub-Association at Civita, San Diego’s New Multi-Use Residential Community

Shea Homes has selected Merit Property Management, a FirstService Residential Management company, to manage Origen, a new community consisting of 200 condominium units in San Diego’s Mission Valley. Merit is assisting the multi-use community with its HOA property management needs effective May 1, 2012.

Origen is the first for-sale residential neighborhood at Civita, a new community spanning over 230 acres in Mission Valley. Citivta’s plan includes 900,000 square feet of retail and office space, 4,800 new apartments, condominiums, attached and single-family homes, a civic center, shopping and entertainment district and nearly 80 acres of proposed open space. Origen will feature a private recreation facility, complete with a pool and places to lounge with the family. Just steps from Civita's civic core, residents will enjoy its convenient location adjacent to the retail center.

Merit took over management responsibilities on May 1, 2012 and created a seamless transition for residents and board members by bringing more than 30 years of community management experience.
