Today’s engineered conveyor systems outperform previous products and provide our customers with substantial savings.

Webster Industries Inc. is offering an innovative program to educate its conveyor systems customers and help them achieve the most efficiency possible from the engineered conveying solutions their businesses require.

“Advancements in design, materials and manufacturing mean today’s conveyor systems and chains are much more complex and demanding than yesterday’s cast iron chain,” said Dean Bogner, Webster Vice President Sales & Marketing. “In recognition of these developments, we’ve established Webster University and the Bachelors of Chain and Conveyor Science.”

The program, scheduled for June 11 through June 14 at Webster’s headquarters facility in Tiffin, will cover a wide range of essential topics, such as:

  •     Bucket elevator basics
  •     Product identification and measurement
  •     Competitor analysis
  •     In-depth market analysis

“Today’s engineered conveyor systems outperform previous products and provide our customers with substantial savings in time, maintenance, money and worker safety,” Bogner said. “We’ve carefully designed the curriculum to help attendees realize the greatest benefit possible from these improvements in chain and conveyor systems and ultimately deliver them to our end user customers.”
