While studying to be a prison administrator at K-State a friend dared him to audition for a role in the play 'Prelude To a Kiss'. Stonestreet got the gig and even though the role was the smallest part in the play his acting career had began. His portrayal of Cameron Scott Tucker has turned him into a household name. Fans of Modern Family will be looking forward to season four when they can see more of Cam and the rest of the family.
