Oklahoma Wesleyan University sponsored the 1st Annual CLAY Awards. The Christian Leadership in Athletics for Youth (CLAY) Awards ceremony was held at the Wyndham Hotel on Tuesday May 22, at 11:45am in Tulsa, OK.

The CLAY Awards were established to honor High Schools students who seek to impact their world for Jesus Christ through the influence of athletics.
The title was taken from the scripture Isaiah 64:8, “We are the clay, you are the potter; we are all the work of your hand.”

The CLAY Awards recognized 16 youth from around Oklahoma who are being molded by God and who outwardly place Christ first through sports, teamwork, leadership and community.

For the past year Fellowship of Christian Athletes (FCA) from the Oklahoma City and Tulsa regions have been selected for the FCA Athlete of the Month sponsored by Oklahoma Wesleyan University and VYPE High School Sports Magazine.
