MajorsPT-Elements™ Achieves Unprecedented Accuracy in Personality Type Assessment

MajorsPT-Elements™ Achieves Accuracy Rates above 90 percent. The instrument reports not only the traditional four-letter type code, but also includes four sub-scales for each scale and a personality formations section not available with any other instrument.

Type Resources announces the latest release of the MajorsPT-Elements which achieves an accuracy rate of 92% making it much more accurate than other Jungian based psychological instruments reporting a four letter type code. Mark Majors achieved this accuracy by making his instrument excel in three ways. He developed item responses that focused on the reality of the individuals completing the instrument. He devised a scoring system that allows each individual completing the instrument to personally weight selected responses, and he developed additional questions to increase selection clarity when a person was indicating an unclear preference.

The MajorsPT-Elements reports a preference on each of four dimensions: energy, perception, judgment, and orientation toward the outside world. Additionally, it provides scores on four components of each dimension.

The MajorsPT-Elements also contains a section entitled Personality Formations which examines what an individual believes about oneself regarding the ability to persevere, how a person adapts when interacting with others, and the person’s ability to affect one’s future.

The MajorsPT-Elements provides 8 scores on the basic four scales, one for each preference, 2 scores for each of the four components of each scale, plus 17 scores in the personality formations portion of the report. The report also includes 8 function-attitude scores that are part of the ongoing research supported by the instrument. These scores are provided on the Client Portrait Report for the facilitator. No scores are provided on the detailed report for the client.

Anyone who is already certified to use a level B psychological instrument can start using this instrument by establishing an account through Type Resources. Those who are not certified to use a level B psychological instrument may become certified to use the MajorsPT-Elements by attending a certification program offered by Type Resources. These certification programs are available in either web conference or face-to-face format. We think you will find the "Difference is Major."
