Grace School will host its first-ever educational technology conference on August 17, 2012. The “Get Connected” conference, devoted entirely to educational technology best practices, provides preschool through high school educators an unparalleled opportunity to explore technologies across curriculum, while increasing their knowledge of the latest strategies on technology use.

Registration is open and free to all Houston-area educators until June 30th. After this date, there will be a $10 processing fee charged to registrants. Known as one of the only educational technology conferences hosted by a private school, this year’s event boasts more than 30 sessions and workshops focusing on hot topics such as: cloud computing, iPad in classrooms, digital content, and teaching and learning.

Technology gurus, dynamic speakers and exhibitors round out the day starting with a keynote address by Lori Aulds, Director, US South Central Education with Microsoft. This one-day event will also include an exhibit hall, a dedicated marketplace for educators, featuring the latest and greatest products from some of the biggest brands in educational technology.
