"Kids who buy the Impact Decks are kids who want a deck with a longer life and want something that's gonna hold up a while after jumping down big gaps."

Annapolis, Maryland (PRWEB) May 29, 2012

Established in 2003 by veteran pro skaters Rodney Mullen and Daewon Song, Almost Skateboards is a fairly new company in the word of skateboarding. Even newer than the company itself, are the companies line of Double Impact skateboards, which first started being produced in 2010.

Double Impact boards are, according to Almost are the boards that are the, "Strongest, lightest,"and have the, "most pop." Almost also goes on to say that, "Double Impact is the most durable board on market." These are all pretty big claims to be made by a skateboard company, however judging by the feedback employees at Pure Board Shop have been receiving, these claims seem to be just.

The technology behind the Almost Double Impact decks is pretty straight forward. Each Double Impact deck is fitted with two composite Carbon Fiber reinforced discs located under truck mounting holes. The Carbon Fiber discs are super strong and help to resist and dampen impact. While affixing the Carbon Fiber Discs to the deck Epoxy Resin anchor is used to fully integrate the disc into the deck without the possibility of separation creating a solid cohesive bond. To finish the deck of Almost uses an entire top sheet made of the same Carbon Fiber as the discs, this allows Almost to only use 6 ply's to make the deck because of this and the use of Carbon Fiber the deck's weight is significantly reduced And if all that wasn't enough, Almost Double Impact Decks also comes with a 45 day guarantee against breaking around the discs.

Ever since the release of the Impact Decks in 2010 pure has Stocked and done well with them. According to Josh Menocal, manager at Pure Board Shop, "Kids who buy the Impact Decks are kids who want a deck with a longer life and want something that's gonna hold up a while after jumping down big gaps." Josh went on to tell us that once kids usually buy these decks the always return to purchase Impact Decks everytime they need a new deck.

This week at Pure they have received a huge shipment of Almost Impact decks featuring pro model Impact Decks from every single one Almost's pros. Since the shipment of the Double Impact Decks came in they have been flying off the board racks and their new graphics have gotten customers psyched. If you're looking to get a longer lasting, lighter board or just stand on one of these new decks to get a feel, then get down to Pure Board Shop.
