Linda and Scott are exemplars of Digicon’s corporate spirit of innovation and dedication to our clients.
Herndon, Virginia (PRWEB) May 29, 2012
Digicon is pleased to announce two winners of the Fiscal Year 12 (FY12) Innovation Award Contest. The Innovation Award recognizes employees who introduce and implement an innovation that increases efficiency, develops business, improves productivity, or enhances the quality of service to Digicon clients. Linda Endrodi and Scott White, winners of the FY12 contest, were awarded iPads for their exceptional innovations.
Linda Endrodi’s superb time and task management process has dramatically improved technical refresh productivity for one of Digicon’s federal clients and has the potential to enhance efficiency throughout Digicon’s operations and client sites.
Linda is part of the Service Desk team that provides Tier 1 support to our client. Linda has streamlined and optimized a remote technology refresh process that lets her migrate and deploy laptops to users at twice the usual rate. Linda employs a set migration methodology that causes several data transfers to dovetail, allowing her to refresh several machines at once while still engaging the machines’ end-users and attending to her daily Tier 1 support tasks. Her extremely productive methodology has been lauded by our client and is being taught to other Service Desk technicians throughout the agency with excellent results. Digicon is also implementing Linda’s process at other client sites.
Scott White’s resourceful and portable application for time and resource management is a benefit to another Digicon federal client and has the potential for far-reaching benefits throughout Digicon’s operations.
Scott built a third party disaster recovery/emergency contact program that is accessible on mobile devices for the client. Scott modified the model that he was building to create a mobile application that gives managers and technicians real-time information on meeting assignments, schedules, and technical requirements. The application cross-references data, giving the user intuitive controls for creating highly detailed meeting schedules that provide all of the necessary information at a glance. The application shortens the time needed to generate a schedule and organizes a wide variety of data into a useable and understandable format. This time- and resource-saving model can be further modified to create more applications and improve operations for other clients.
Digicon greatly appreciates Linda’s and Scott’s contributions and congratulates each of them on their significant achievements. Linda and Scott are exemplars of Digicon’s corporate spirit of innovation and dedication to our clients.
