Senator Tom Carper of Delaware was presented with the "Friend of Agriculture" award on May 15. The award, which was given by MidAtlantic Farm Credit and AgFirst Farm Credit, recognizes leaders who have supported agriculture.

U.S. Senator Thomas Carper of Delaware received a “Friend of Agriculture” Award from Farm Credit in Washington D.C. The award, which was given by MidAtlantic Farm Credit and AgFirst Farm Credit Bank, recognizes leaders who have supported agriculture.

Past recipients included Tim Holden (D-PA) and NC Senator Kay Hagan (D-NC).

MidAtlantic senior vice president, Kenneth Bounds said, "Senator Carper has been a great advocate for agriculture, both in his home state of Delaware, and on a national level. We are grateful to him for his ongoing support."
