Performance Assembly Solutions (PAS) assembles the much heralded Ford 2013 Shelby GT 500 Mustang’s “Integrated Air Fuel Module” (IAFM). The 662-horsepower 5.8-liter engine utilizes an IAFM that incorporates a PAS assembled and tested supercharger built around the Eaton TVS 2300 rotating group. “Our team is excited to once again be responsible for the delivery of this complex IAFM to Ford Romeo Engine Plant albeit this time with a supercharger assembly we build vs. one we have historically purchased” states Chris Zucker, Vice President and General Manager of Performance Assembly Solutions. “The availability of this IAFM from PAS provided the basis for the Ford Special Vehicle Team (SVT) to take the Shelby GT 500 to a new horsepower pinnacle.” The 2013 Ford Shelby GT 500 is the first 200mph Mustang and does this with fuel economy improvement and no gas guzzler tax.
