“Brian McIntyre and the McIntyre family represent the “Best of the Best” in giving back to the students of Collingswood High School," stated Edward Hill, Collingswood High School’s Principal.

Brian McIntyre, president of WorkStrategy, Inc., and his family awarded four scholarships totaling $20,000 at the Collingswood High School Academic Awards Banquet on May 22nd, 2012. A former student and resident of Collingswood, New Jersey, Brian started the scholarship program in 2000 and contributed over $300,000 in funds to date. The program was renamed in 2004 to the George F. and Joan D. McIntyre Scholarship Fund in honor of his parents, both of whom had been intimately involved with local charities and educational programs.

The 2012 award recipients were Angela Bouton, Gabrielle Cappelli, Jenna Deets, and Edward Newton.

“Brian McIntyre and the McIntyre family represent the “Best of the Best” in giving back to the students of Collingswood High School. Every year Brian returns to Collingswood to present scholarship awards to many deserving members of our senior class. These scholarships, in memory of his parents, George and Joan, recognize academic standing, college admission with a major in the fields of science, mathematics or technology, and financial need,” stated Edward Hill, Collingswood High School’s Principal.

“The McIntyre family looks forward to participating in the Collingswood High School Scholarship Awards Banquet each year. This community pulls together extremely well to ensure the students are provided opportunities for higher education,” said Mr. McIntyre, now a resident of Maryland. He added, “As always, these graduates impress us with their academic performance, diligence, and community service.”

Mr. Hill added, “Collingswood High School appreciates the generosity and striving for excellence that is part of the award’s makeup. Our students are positively enriched with the awards that Brian and his family provide and thank them for making the choice to promote the ideals that you gain more knowledge, enhance their skills and become a better person through education. Simply put, Brian McIntyre and his family’s continued support of the students of Collingswood High School is something that our students cherish and will remember for the rest of their lives.”
