The Professional Association of Small Business Accountants (PASBA) and SmallBizAccountants.com is proud to announce the creation of a new small business accounting video currently available for viewing on the home page of its website. The 1 minute and 44 second video is also available on YouTube and explains exactly who PASBA is and what they do for small business owners.
“Understanding the often complicated world of small business accounting, payroll and taxes can be frustrating for many small business owners,” says Shelley Klein, executive director for PASBA. “Developing this informative and easy-to-follow video quickly explains the purpose of PASBA and our SmallBizAccountants.com web site. Our goal is to be THE accounting resource for small businesses across the U.S.,” continues Klein.
The Professional Association of Small Business Accountants (PASBA) was formed in 1982 for the purpose of bringing together professional accountants, bookkeepers, and Enrolled Agents with small business owners. Small businesses are the economic backbone of the American economy generating more than half of all private non-farm gross domestic product and creating between 60 and 80 percent of net new jobs (U.S. Census). By helping small businesses see increased profitability and plan for new growth, PASBA’s member accountants hope to play an even greater role in the future small business success across the country.
One of the biggest problems that most small business owners face is in their accounting and bookkeeping department. Often, a business will not generate sufficient revenue to have its own full-time accounting staff, but small business owners do realize the need for competent help in that area. “We believe that once the public is aware of how convenient our services are, they will be eager to take advantage of the availability of knowledgeable professional bookkeepers and accountants across the U.S.,” continues Klein. “PASBA exists to help small businesses succeed.”
A small business owner can go to SmallBizAccountants.com and click on the “Find an Accountant” tab, then search either by zip code or state when looking for a qualified small business bookkeeper. The site also offers a rich knowledgebase of articles and blog posts by PASBA’s small business professionals on a wide range of topics and issues pertaining to business management. PASBA represents many CPA’s, Public Accountants, and Enrolled Agents who provide accounting services to small businesses throughout the United States. They understand the needs of small business owners and wish to help them on the road to success.
