Black Box Social Media Co Founder Curt Maly and CEO Tom Bukacek presented a social media case study to the National Basketball Association at this weeks Owners' Meetings in Chicago, IL. Black Box Social Media was asked to detail their experience based on their successes with the NBA Development League team the Austin Toros, which is owned and operated by the San Antonio Spurs.

Black Box Social Media used their experience with the Austin Toros to detail what other Development Leagues should do. The main focus of the presentation was to educate on the 5 main drivers of social media, which were using Facebook, video marketing, Twitter, pay per click marketing, and contests.

Utilizing social media allowed the Austin Toros to see a significant increase in overall attendance, season ticket sales, walk up sales, as well as overall increase in satisfaction.
