"Living near the coast and having parents that taught me to love the garden, travel, and experience the best of what our West coast has to offer - I feel our jewelry is capturing that element." says Hammond.

Santa Cruz Sea Glass to be among those featured at the Sunset Magazine Celebration Weekend: Fresh from the West June 2nd & 3rd from 10:00am - 5:00pm. Being native born Californian's, they each share a passion for the West and the Pacific Ocean they call home. Starting Santa Cruz Sea Glass in 2006, the couple hand makes unique jewelry creations themselves using the natural sea glass they find and recycled USA sterling silver. Two years later in 2008, Santa Cruz Sea Glass became an official partner of the National Marine Sanctuary Foundation and in 2009 Hammond, started the annual Santa Cruz Sea Glass & Ocean Art Festival to help raise awareness and donations for the Monterey Bay National Marine Sanctuary.

Krista is much honored to be a part of this year's 15th annual Sunset Magazine Celebration weekend; "I grew up reading Sunset magazine. Living near the coast and having parents that taught me to love the garden, travel, and experience the best of what our West coast has to offer - I feel our jewelry is capturing that element."
