Hydroponics is a new industry to Michigan that residents have embraced over the last several years. In response to the demand for expanded services on the local and national level Edenz Hydroponics has launched a new website that goes beyond the traditional hydroponics store as they are now featuring aquariums, aquarium related products, and seeds for vegetables and flowers. While some have claimed that the growth of hydroponics is due to medical marijuana, George Brikho says that "the growth of hydroponics is due to the fact that people are becoming more aware that they can grow their own food at high quality standards."

Edenz Hydro is proud to announce the debut of a new and expanded product selection in store and online at the new company website that can be found at http://www.edenzhydro.com. The new product lines include aquariums, aquarium acccessories, and seeds for vegetables and flowers. The business is ready to meet online demand for peak customer satisfaction by regularly stocking upwards of a half million dollars in inventory. “Having the online site means that we're now getting orders from around the globe, so we have a deep inventory to ensure our shipping schedule meets the expectations of our customers”, says Edenz Hydro owner George Brikho.

It was not that long ago that owner George Brikho was operating a family business in Chesterfield Township, Michigan with his dad, a business that had operated for 14 years. As new banking structures became a reality over the last several years Brikho knew that they had to make a change. “There was a new demand for hydroponics equipment and it made sense to go all in.” Edenz Hydro currently employs seven employees and has hired numerous subcontractors for various duties. There have been thousands of new jobs around the State of Michigan that have been created directly by the emerging hydroponics industry. “This industry has created local employment and I know many people who have saved their homes here in Michigan due to this specific revenue”, Brikho goes on to say, “National business's such as the power companies and product suppliers are seeing increased revenue, but at the State level these are the new jobs!” “A lot of people assume that the increased interest in hydroponics is due solely because of medical marijuana, but in fact we are seeing a lot of people shopping for their indoor and outdoor gardens,” Brikho states, “I think with our current economic situation that more people are deciding that growing their own food is more economical and healthier too.”

Edenz Hydroponics opened two stores in Michigan (Madison Heights and Lapeer) in 2010 and 2011. Those stores have proven to be successful as customers often drive upwards of 100 miles or more to visit the popular locations. “We pride ourselves in stocking a huge array of products from a large selection of suppliers, and now, with the addition of aquariums, aquarium related products and seeds we have become a superstore for products that compliment nature and organics” says Brikho. Edenz Hydro features product lines from suppliers that include Sunlight Supply, Hydro Farms, Advanced Nutrients, General Hydroponics, and Fox Farm just to name a few. Brikho goes on to say, “we listen to our customers and we stock what the customer desires, and that has lead to the wider variety of products that we now feature.”

The home page for Edenz Hydro features witty commentary, videos, tips and suggestions that make the site unique. Brikho went on to say, “I created this website to showcase a lot of information and entertainment so that the customer would have a more enjoyable shopping experience.” The Michigan based company features horticultural products that assist the customer with the growing process from start to finish while also producing the most optimum results. The online store as well as the two Michigan stores are loaded with nutrients, bulbs, ballasts, soils, and thousands of other products that can be found in one location for a easy and complete shopping experience.
