Green Apple Flooring celebrates a podium finish in the first race of the season

A win for Green Apple

Iain takes his place on the podium

It’s great news that Iain Dockerill is charging ahead in the new BRCC championship – building on what is already an enviable driving career.

It seems Green Apple Flooring Company’s unyielding drive for quality doesn’t stop with their engineered and solid wood floors; it continues onto the racetrack.

As proud sponsors of Chad Racing, Green Apple has high hopes for race driver, Iain Dockerill, who’s currently leading Chad’s charge at Belgium’s Racing Car Championship (BRCC).

Wielding a devastating 440 horsepower from the exquisitely engineered Kia pro_cee’d race car, the English racing hero looks set to – indeed – proceed onto the champion’s podium at the end of the competition.

The championship involves a series of sprints and endurance tests, with drivers competing across two short 30 minute races, plus a longer three hour session, over the course of each adrenaline-packed race weekend.

Three champions will be crowned at the end of the season: one for the sprint and one for the endurance, as well as the overall champion across both race categories.

Having clocked up a scorching result at the championship’s opening weekend at Zolder – finishing fifth in the first sprint and fourth in the second (first in class for both), and crossing the line in fifth (second in class) in the endurance race – things are really heating up for team Chad at one of Belgium’s biggest racing contests.

Green Apple Flooring’s Managing Director, Stephen MacVicar, is thrilled with Chad’s flying start to the championship. Stephen said, “It’s great news that Iain Dockerill is charging ahead in the new BRCC championship – building on what is already an enviable driving career.”

Iain’s quest for a place on the champion’s podium continues at Spa on June 9th.
